The Red Dead Redemption Mod for GTA V has Been Shut Down

After a long metre in yield, the Crimson Dead Salvation V mod has been cancelled after Rockstar contacted the modders.

For the last three old age or so, there's been a mod team working to port Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption to Thousand Theft Automobile V. We've seen some assets from the envision here and there, but the kickoff prevue was released on Friday. Unfortunately, that prevue was quickly targeted by Rockstar and taken down.

Shortly after the trailer was pulled, the project's leader, who goes aside the name Mr. Leisurewear, posted on the GTAForums, locution,

"I know this is concentrated tablet to swallow, but as you may have noticed we did get contacted, and we deplorably have to say we are fillet this visualise. So thanks guys, we were all so happy to see this, but it isn't releas to happen, deplorable :/ :/ :/"

Mr. Leisurewear went on in a afterward post, explaining wherefore the team up chose to shut in the project down, "And they can action ME for the fact i provide a tool that "Reversal engineers" their place which in the EEC (where i am) are non mild on. And to be correct it is TakeTwo , only someplace i hind end sense them for "protective their mark", merely yeah sh*t happens "

While this May be disappointing, it is not surprising. This certainly is not the original mod to be close by the company that owns the rights to the game in question. Even though this modern would have only brought the RDR map to GTA V, there are still peck of people who are turned past this outcome.

Meanwhile, Read Dead Redemption 2 is still slated to bring out this fall.
